Appointment Etiquette 101

So its your first time getting a lash service? Let me show you what to expect and how to make the best out of your experience.
You've spent the time doing your research to find the perfect lash artist, you have selected a service, and booked your appointment. Before you step into your first appointment I thought I would share a few tips on what I like to call "appointment etiquette".

Every lash artist will be different in what they ask of their clients and what they expect as far as appointment etiquette. Below I have listed a few things that I have found to make every appointment go smoother.

Appointment Etiquette 101:

Get familiar with the policies.
Most lash artists will have policies that they have created for their business. Being familiar with these policies is important so you know what they expect. These policies usually pertain to refunds, rescheduling, late arrivals, and studio rules.

Properly prep for your appointment.
The most important preparation for your appointment will be arriving with clean makeup-free lashes! This will help with retention as well as give you more time for application. The dirtier the lash line, the more time will be used for cleaning instead of applying. If needed, arriving a bit early will give time to cleanse in the bathroom. Squeaky clean is the way to go!

Arrive on time.
While this may be an obvious one, it is still super important to arrive on time to avoid being asked to reschedule.

Leave it all at the door.
Before entering your appointment, leave it all at the door! Your appointment time should be used to relax and disconnect. Silence your phone, pick your favorite playlist or podcast, kick off the shoes (and bring some cozy socks!) and just enjoy your time.

I hope these simple appointment etiquette tips will give help you achieve the best possible lash experience and create a long lasting relationship with your artist. I promise they will appreciate it!
