Aftercare tips:

-Be gentle! Avoid pulling or playing with your extensions. They are attached to your natural lashes.

-
OIL FREE EVERYTHING. Do not place any products on the eyes or around eye area that contain oil. This includes makeup, sunscreen, skin care products, cleansers, etc. Any products used on or around your eyes should be OIL-FREE (water based only) if you want to keep your lashes on as long as possible.

-NO WATERPROOF OR LONG WEAR MAKEUP. Do not use any makeup products that are waterproof or made to be long lasting. These products are difficult to remove and require an oil-based makeup remover. The aggressive rubbing motion required to remove these products can be extremely harmful to your extensions as well as your natural lashes. If any of these products are used with your lash extensions, I am unable to touch up your eyelashes during your next appointment and a removal will be required.

-DO NOT CUT YOUR LASHES. If you are unhappy with the length of lash that was applied to your eyes, PLEASE call me and come in for a removal. Cutting your eyelashes is a big no-no as this creates a blunt edge and can be harmful if they scratch your eyes.

-DO NOT WEAR MASCARA. Applying mascara to your eyelash extensions will significantly shorten the length of time your lashes will stay adhered. The motion of applying as well as removing mascara is very rough on your eyelash extensions and can cause them to be pulled out. It is not possible to completely clean off mascara from your eyelash extensions and I will be unable to proceed with your touch up appointment, you will be required to get a removal.

-BRUSH YOUR LASHES. Brushing your eyelashes is very important to their appearance as well as your natural lash health. Brushing 1-2 times a day will help keep them untangled and loosen any lashes that need to shed in order for new eyelashes to grow in.

-EYELINER: Pencil, gel, and waterproof eyeliner are NOT to be used with eyelash extensions. These three types of eyeliner will cause eyelash extensions to lift and shed prematurely.
We recommend using a wet angled brush with black powdered eyeliner or a water based liquid eyeliner if you prefer to wear eyeliner.
Using a pencil, gel, or waterproof eyeliner will cause makeup to stay stuck in your eyelash extensions and I will be unable to proceed with an eyelash touch up during your next appointment.

-KEEP YOUR LASHES CLEAN! Keeping your eyelashes clean is an important key to your lash and eye health. Gently cleaning your eyelashes with water and a mild oil-free soap will keep your lashes looking fresh extend their lifetime. Natural oils and skin cells collect every day in our lash line and it is important to cleanse them daily. Use a clean mascara brush and warm water to brush out impurities and pat dry with paper towel for most effective cleaning.

Touch up (fill) appointments are required every THREE WEEKS! Please schedule your touch up appointment in a timely manner as to avoid requiring a new set (4 weeks or longer)
